Quest Loss Control Services Inc. (Quest) is an independent company that provides risk consulting services to insurance companies, insurance brokers, and property owners across Canada. We have extensive knowledge of the exposures and risks facing corporations and we offer practical solutions to address these risks in accordance with internationally-recognized standards. We are driven with the desire to offer exceptional customer service and endeavour to offer quality technical evaluations on a timely basis.

Quest's mission is to protect a company's assets through the management of risk and reduction of the potential for losses. We do this by:

  • Identifying potential risks and loss exposures
  • Evaluating the financial impact of the potential loss
  • Developing recommendations to manage the exposures
  • Providing assistance in the implementation of these recommendations
  • Monitoring results to ensure that the desired objectives were met

Quest is led by David Bitton, who is a registered professional engineer who hgraduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Civil Engineering) from McGill University in Montreal. Prior to forming Quest, Mr. Bitton spent twenty years at AIG Consultants Inc., including fifteen years as Manager for Canada . While at AIG, Mr. Bitton oversaw the provision of loss control services for hundreds of facilities each month. These included assessments of property, general liability, product liability, fleet, product recall, and/or environmental exposures.

Prior to joining AIG Consultants, Mr. Bitton spent seven years with the Canadian Industrial Risks Insurers (CIRI) as a field engineer covering pulp and paper facilities, mining sites, major construction projects, and large, highly protected risks across Canada.
